I know that I have been missing in action for a long time now, silently lurking on all of your blogs. Truth be told, I lost the cord to my camera about six months ago and cannot, for the life of me, figure out what I did with it. Needless to say, I haven't wanted to post unless I can post with pictures. On Saturday, I literally tore the house apart looking for this cord and although I never found THE cord, I found a cord that would fit into my charger and VOILA we now have photos. I stitched four Shepherd's Bush stockings in record time for my family for Christmas and here are the pictures to prove my work.
I am currently working on a gift for a "family" member who does not read my blog, so pictures should follow in a few days.
For Christmas Santa aka Milsey bought us a brand new 2011 Ford Edge. He gave it to us two weeks before the big day and took us to Birmingham, Alabama to see the Von Trapp Children sing at the historic Alabama Theater. We have seen the children perform twice before when we lived in Pennsylvania. They don't perform much anymore because they are all in college except for the youngest, Justin, who is still in high school. Anyway, they performed with the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra for a special holiday concert and Milsey bought tickets for us in the second row center as an early Christmas gift. I simply adore that man!
Well my friends, I am going to try and do my best to update this blog. I have been in a bit of a stitching slump lately, but will try to keep up with things around here! Happy Stitching!

beautiful stockings & lots of work involved.
happy stitching!
Your stockings are awesome, especially since I know how you struggled to get them completed and finished on time! A GREAT BIG CONGRATULATIONS is in order!
Keep up the good works sweetheart. Hope you get to feeling better soon!
Wonderful finishes! It takes a lot of work to complete 4 stockings. How cool you got to see the Von Trapp children, I recently saw an article on one of the original ones who still manages their lodge in New England. Congrats on the new car too!
Beautiful work! I've stitches some of these, myself and they are cuter in person than pictures can capture. Great work!
Love your work on all your stockings!
